Our first installation on the Australian continent has been designed for handling 15,000 m³/h originating from the inlet works of a new wwtp.
The odor control unit consists of a number of compartments, connected in parallel. The individual compartments could be put ON and OFF as required. Being the first Neutralox installation in Australia, the odor control unit had been under intensive investigation and control by local authorities. Performance testing, with odour and substances analysis had been carried out and published. It was found, that the NEUTRALOX system is able to reduce the odour concentration from 135,000 OU/m³ to below 500 OU/m³.
After completion of the installation, different maintenance companies were taking care of the odour control system. All frequently required consumables are sourced locally, ever since.
